Boosterberg supports Instagram Business Accounts that are linked to a Facebook Business Page. Personal Instagram accounts and Creator accounts are not supported for Boosterberg campaigns because Meta advertising access requires the Business Account and Facebook Page connection.

Requirements

Before connecting Instagram, make sure you have:
  • An Instagram Business Account
  • The Instagram Business Account linked to a Facebook Business Page
  • Access to the Facebook account that manages that Page
  • A Meta ad account with a valid payment method

Connect Instagram

  1. Confirm the Instagram account is set to Business in Instagram settings.
  2. Confirm the Instagram account is linked to the correct Facebook Business Page.
  3. Sign in to Boosterberg with the Facebook account that manages the linked Page.
  4. Grant the requested Meta permissions.
  5. Select the Instagram profile as a channel in Boosterberg.
  6. Choose the ad account Meta should bill for promoted posts.

Troubleshooting

Instagram profile is not listed

Check that the Instagram account is a Business Account and that it is linked to a Facebook Business Page. Creator and Personal accounts will not appear as supported campaign channels.

Wrong Facebook Page is linked

Update the Instagram to Facebook Page connection in Meta settings, then reconnect Facebook in Boosterberg.

Permissions changed

If the account was connected before but stopped syncing, review Meta permissions and reconnect Facebook from Boosterberg.
