  • A Facebook Ad Account
  • Admin or advertiser access to the ad account
  • A valid payment method configured in Facebook

Connecting your ad account

1

Click Connect Ad Account and choose from your available Facebook Ad Accounts.
If you don’t see your ad account, verify you have admin or advertiser permissions in Facebook Business Manager.
3

Boosterberg checks that your ad account has a valid payment method. If not, you’ll be directed to add one in Facebook.
4

Set spending limits

Configure optional spending limits to control costs (recommended).

Ad account settings

Spending limits

Protect your budget with multiple layers of limits:

Account spending limit

Set a maximum monthly spend across all Boosterberg campaigns:
Example: $2,000 per month
All campaigns pause when this limit is reached
This is separate from Facebook’s ad account spending limit. Set both for maximum protection.

Campaign spending limits

Individual campaign budgets (set when creating campaigns):
  • Per-post budget
  • Daily campaign limit
  • Total campaign budget

Payment method

Your Facebook Ad Account payment method is used for all promoted posts:
  • Credit/debit card
  • PayPal
  • Bank account (in some regions)
  • Facebook ad credits
Payment is processed by Meta, not Boosterberg. Charges appear as Facebook Ads on your statement.

Billing threshold

Meta charges your payment method when you reach your billing threshold or on your monthly bill date, whichever comes first.
Example billing thresholds:
- New accounts: $25
- Established accounts: $50, $250, $500, etc.

Multiple ad accounts

When to use multiple ad accounts

  • Managing multiple businesses or clients
  • Separating budgets by brand or region
  • Testing different payment methods

Switching ad accounts

Change which ad account is used for campaigns:
1

Go to billing settings

Navigate to Settings > Billing.
2

Select different account

Click Change Ad Account and choose another account.
3

Update campaigns

Existing campaigns continue using the original ad account. New campaigns use the newly selected account.

Ad account per page

Assign different ad accounts to different pages:
  1. Go to Settings > Pages
  2. Select a page
  3. Click Ad Account and choose the account for that page
This is useful when managing multiple clients or brands with separate billing.

Monitoring spend

Real-time tracking

Boosterberg shows current spend across:
  • Individual campaigns
  • All campaigns combined

  • Daily spend reaches a threshold
