Invite team members instead of sharing personal logins. Each person should have their own access and the minimum role needed for their work.

User roles

Boosterberg uses these team states and roles:
  • Administrator
  • Manager
  • Regular User
  • Invited Users

Adding team members

  1. Open team settings in Boosterberg.
  2. Invite the person by email.
  3. Choose the appropriate role.
  4. Send the invitation.
  5. Review invited users and resend or remove pending invitations as needed.

Managing access

Review team access when responsibilities change:
  • Update roles for existing team members
  • Remove people who no longer need access
  • Check invited users that have not accepted yet
  • Use channel terminology when discussing access to Facebook Pages and Instagram profiles

Role guidance

Administrator

Use for account owners or people who need broad account control.

Manager

Use for people who manage campaigns and day-to-day optimization.

Regular User

Use for people who need limited product access.

Invited Users

These users have been invited but have not completed setup yet.

Best practices

  • Do not share Facebook or Boosterberg logins
  • Grant the lowest role that fits the job
  • Review team access regularly
  • Remove stale invited users
  • Check Meta Business access separately, because Meta permissions can also affect Boosterberg
