We’ve expanded the Business Connections table in User Settings to give you a clearer overview and more control. From now on, you’ll see all the agencies you are part of, along with additional account details.
Previously, if your permissions for Boosterberg were changed on the user side, you had to manually refresh the data using the button near your profile. That’s no longer needed.
To make things clearer and more consistent, we’ve set the Past Post Checking number to a permanent default of 30 posts.
The option to change this number was often unclear and could be misleading. By fixing the limit at 30, we’re keeping the system simple and easy to understand.
💡 Feedback welcome: If you feel 30 isn’t enough for your use case, let us know — we’re open to revisiting this limit based on user needs.
To improve security and reliability, we’ve introduced a new rule: you can no longer create campaigns or start boosting until your email address is verified.
We’ve made location targeting more flexible by lowering the minimum radius for the Drop a Pin option.
1. In campaign targeting, choose Drop a Pin.
2. Select your desired spot on the map.
3. Set your radius (from 2 km upwards) for more accurate audience reach.
We’ve decided to remove Marker.io as a feedback option. Most of you preferred reaching out to us directly via email or chat, so we streamlined our support channels to match your preferences.
Previously, when duplicating a campaign, only the default ad set was included. That’s why we’re introducing a new popup window that lets you choose which ad sets to duplicate along with your campaign.
1. Open the campaign you want to duplicate
2. Click “Duplicate Campaign.”
3. In the popup, check the ad sets you want to include.
4. Confirm and you’re done.
Many of you needed a way to see which original invoice a refund was related to. Until now, we had to send this information manually. From now on, each refund invoice will automatically include the number of the original invoice it’s tied to. And even better – all refunds are now directly in the invoices list in the Boosterberg app.
We heard your feedback – waiting 5 to 10 seconds to log in wasn’t fun, and switching between agencies was no better. We’ve optimized both processes, cutting login and agency time significantly.
We gave our system emails a fresh new look! Expect a cleaner design that’s easier to read and more aligned with our current app design.
We’ve resolved and fixed minor bugs to ensure full functionality and better application performance.
We know it can be annoying, when you need to create a new campaign with same conditions as you have in one of your older campaigns, but you can’t just copy them. This is why we added the option to duplicate an existing campaign with all the same settings of the campaign and adjacent ad set.
1. Open the campaign you want to duplicate.
2. Select the option to duplicate campaign.
After our last update you are able to set email notifications to be sent to your email address (or any Team member email address). Thanks to this functionality you can be informed and notified about every new error shown in the history log of your campaign so it will never be overlooked anymore.
As you already know, we have an automated process to duplicate full adsets. In rare cases, this process may fail. That is why we have added an error message to our error log, so you will know why it happened and how to fix it.
And finally… If you were waiting for universe (or Facebook) to launch Facebook reels boosting, you’ve lived to see it happen. They have finally made reels-boosting work and if you want to use this option just check the box for ‘Video Reels’ in the post types (Custom Settings) and hooray to adding them! 🙂
We understand that seamless integration with Facebook is crucial for our users. However, we noticed that in certain scenarios, users were experiencing difficulties connecting their Facebook pages automatically. To address this issue, we have introduced a new feature that allows users to manually add their Facebook page using its unique ID.
Users now have the ability to manually input their Facebook page ID to connect their page to the Boosterberg app
1. Go to Create a new Facebook campaign.
2. Select the option to manually add your Facebook page.
3. Select the page from the dropdown if it’s on the list.
4. If it’s not, click on “Add manually”.
We aim to streamline the ad creation process for our users. Previously, when duplicating an ad set, users faced an inconvenience where there was no option to adjust the budget directly within the duplication interface. This required users to leave the duplication process, modify the budget in a different section, and then return to complete their task. To enhance user experience, we have now resolved this issue.
In-Process Budget Adjustment: Users can now directly adjust the budget within the ad set duplication interface. This eliminates the need to navigate away from the process, making ad set duplication quicker and more intuitive.

– Better Support and Updates: Using the latest API version means that we benefit from ongoing support and updates directly from Facebook, allowing us to address issues more swiftly and effectively.
We identified an inconsistency where the posts log was not displaying the same information as the error log. This update addresses that issue to ensure consistency and reliability in our logging system.
– Synchronized Logging Information: The posts log has been updated to display the same detailed information as the error log. This includes all relevant error messages, timestamps, and other critical data points.
– Improved Debugging and Monitoring: With consistent information across both logs, users can now more effectively monitor their campaigns and troubleshoot any issues, as all necessary details are readily available in the posts log.
We identified an issue where the “Use Percentages” functionality was not operating as expected. This update addresses and resolves the problem, restoring full functionality to this feature.
– Fixed “Use Percentages” Feature: The issue causing the “Use Percentages” functionality to malfunction has been identified and fixed. Users can now correctly apply percentage-based adjustments to their campaigns.
– Improved Accuracy: With this fix, percentage calculations and applications are now precise and reliable, ensuring that your campaign settings reflect your intended adjustments accurately.
Recognizing the challenges that arise when the agency owner leaves but their account remains connected to their Boosterberg agency account without the ability to change ownership, we’ve added this feature. Now, you can easily transfer ownership whenever necessary through the User Settings section.
In continuation with the previous update, when agency ownership is transferred to a different user, the contact email for the agency will automatically be updated to match the new owner’s email.
We’re thrilled to roll out a new feature that enhances your Boosterberg experience: the “All Posts View Log”! Now, you can conveniently access all the posts that have been checked and validated by Boosterberg in a single location. Each post is accompanied by comprehensive details, providing insights into why it was boosted or not, complete with specific reasons and corresponding dates. This enhancement streamlines your campaign management, offering greater transparency and control over your boosting decisions.
You can now effortlessly navigate campaign details with tailored viewing experiences based on your editing rights. This enhancement addresses past user concerns, ensuring clarity on who can edit campaigns. Viewer rights offer a comprehensive read-only view, while editing rights provide full access for adjustments.
Additionally, we’ve introduced a new “Users with Access” feature.
This feature, located in campaign details, enables you to see all agency users with editing rights and their access to Facebook pages and ad accounts.
Following our recent release where default boosting conditions were updated, we have implemented a warning banner within custom settings. This banner serves to alert users to the modifications before initiating their campaigns, ensuring they are informed about any changes that may affect their settings.
We have resolved the issue of users receiving redundant email notifications upon losing access to a page while campaigns were still active. Moving forward, this email notification will be sent only once after losing access and will not be repeated.
We have addressed the issue with the “Unknown” tooltip, which appeared when audience reach couldn’t be defined due to highly specific settings. The tooltip was broken, but now it has been fixed.
To ensure continuous campaign activity and performance, we have modified the interval for credit card charges in Braintree. This adjustment aims to provide a seamless experience for our users, eliminating the need for constant monitoring.
We have resolved a bug where users were not receiving notification emails regarding failed payments. This fix ensures that both the user and our support team will now receive an email notification in the event of a failed payment, improving communication and facilitating prompt resolution of payment issues.
We have addressed the issue of rounding up the minimum ad budget for campaigns. This fix ensures that the minimum ad budget is calculated accurately, eliminating any discrepancies caused by rounding errors.
Previously, adjusting the ad budget of campaigns created in Boosterberg required users to exclusively utilize the app. Changes made within Meta’s Ads Manager weren’t reflected in Boosterberg. We’ve rectified this limitation by implementing a two-way synchronization system. Now, any modifications to the budget made in Meta’s Ads Manager will seamlessly update within Boosterberg, ensuring consistency across both platforms. Users will observe these changes reflected in their campaign or ad set details the next time they access them in Boosterberg. The change applies to campaign or ad set status change as well. For example, if a user deactivates a campaign in Ads Manager, it will be marked as deactivated in Boosterberg as well.
We’ve addressed a bug that caused users to be unexpectedly signed out from Boosterberg Presets, requiring them to sign in again. To mitigate this inconvenience, we have extended the login interval, ensuring users remain logged in for longer periods and experience smoother navigation within the platform.
We’ve adjusted our default boosting conditions based on user feedback and our own experience to optimize your campaigns. Now, we’ve increased the default number of posts to validate and boost during a campaign to 10. Additionally, we’ve enabled boosting more posts at the same time by default. Before starting your campaign, please review and adjust settings as necessary.
In our ongoing effort to enhance the accuracy of our campaign start and stop conditions, we’ve optimized the interval for post validation checks in Boosterberg. Previously set at 30 minutes, this interval has now been shortened to just 10 minutes. This adjustment ensures more precise validation of posts for launching or stopping ads, minimizing room for error.
To address instances where users experienced challenges with their campaigns failing to stop as intended, we’ve identified temporary spikes in demand within our system as the underlying causes. To fix this issue, we’ve increased our capacity to help with such occurrences in the future.
We’ve improved our keyword start condition by introducing the ability to track partial or full matches of selected keywords within your content. Previously, when setting a condition to boost any post containing the hashtag #Summer, Boosterberg would validate all posts, including those with partial matches like #SummerLovers. With this update, you now have the flexibility to target exact match keywords or opt to track partial matches if desired. Additionally, key sensitivity settings can be applied to both partial and full matches.
This improvement extends to the negative keywords condition as well, enabling you to specify which posts Boosterberg should avoid when validating content for boosting.
We’ve implemented a new feature that alerts users when they attempt to pause or start a campaign but lack the necessary ad account management rights. If a user’s access to the ad account associated with an active campaign is revoked, they will be unable to halt or resume the campaign until the access issue is resolved. This warning message provides clear instructions on how to rectify the situation and bring the campaign to a halt.
When a subscription expires following 10 days of unsuccessful attempts by Boosterberg to charge a user’s card, both the user and the Boosterberg team will receive an email notifying them of the subscription’s cancellation.
We fixed the Audience definition meter under Budget and Targeting, as it wasn’t responding to the user’s chosen targeting settings.
We’re pleased to announce that Instagram story boosting functionality has been restored. Users can now boost their stories by selecting the “Instagram Stories Campaign” option available on their dashboard.
Setting up an Instagram story boosting campaign follows the same process as creating a regular campaign. However, please note that this campaign type is exclusively designed for boosting stories. If you want to boost Instagram posts, choose the Instagram Campaign option.
Facebook has revamped the objective selection experience for new campaigns. In response, we’ve aligned our campaign settings with Facebook’s new objective selection structure. Learn more about ODAX here.
In compliance with EU regulations effective June 2023, all ads targeting the EU and associated territories or global audiences must now include beneficiary information (the person benefiting) and an optional payer field. These fields have been integrated into the campaign setup settings.
Users can now sign up for Boosterberg and Presets without using the email associated with their Facebook account or by choosing a different email.
