Boosterberg gives you full control over your business details, team members, and user settings. Whether you need to update your contact information, invite new team members, or delete your account, this guide will walk you through each step.
Feature Overview
The User & Business Settings section is divided into two key areas:
Business Settings – Manage your business details, team members, and agency settings.
User Settings – Control your personal profile, account permissions, and business connections.
How To Manage Business Settings
To access Business Settings, follow these steps:
Open Business Settings
• From the Dashboard, go to the left sidebar menu and click Business Settings.
Update Your Business Information
• In this section, you can edit:
○ Business Name
○ Business Email
○ Business Phone
Managing Team Members
• Below your business information, you’ll find a Team Members List.
• Each team member has an assigned role:
○ Regular User – Can manage the campaigns they have access to.
○ Manager– Can manage campaigns, business settings, and subscription/billing.
○ Administrator – Has full control over the agency, including team management, business settings, and account actions like transferring ownership or deleting the business.
• To change a user’s role or remove them from the agency, use the Actions Dropdown next to their name.
Inviting New Team Members
• To add a new team member, enter their email address in the Invite Users section and click the “+” button.
• Below, you’ll see a list of invited users, which you can also remove if necessary.
Deleting Your Business Account
• At the bottom of the Business Settings page, you’ll find the option to Delete Your Business Account.
• Clicking this button will open a pop-up window, where you must select a reason for deletion.
• To finalize, click Delete My Account, and the request will be sent to Boosterberg Support.
Note: If you delete your agency account, all campaigns in Ads Manager will be paused, and ads will stop spending money. This action cannot be undone.
How To Manage User Settings
If you want to manage your personal settings, follow these steps:
Open User Settings
• Click on your Profile Photo in the top right corner and select My Profile.
Update Your Contact Email
• Here, you can edit your email address for communication and notifications.
Managing Business Connections
• View the list of businesses you are connected to and check your specific permissions within each agency.
Deleting Your User Account
• At the bottom of the User Settings page, you’ll find the option to Delete Your Account.
• If you are an agency owner, you must transfer ownership before you can request account deletion.
• If you are the only member of your agency, you can either invite new members or your agency will be deleted along with your account.
Note: Deleting your user profile will not affect your agency’s campaigns unless you are the sole owner of the business.
Only the owner and managers of the agency can access Business Settings. The owner can also grant access to regular users by upgrading their role to manager in the Team Members section.
There are three roles: Regular User, Manager, and Administrator. Yes, you can be part of multiple businesses. You can own an agency while also being a member of other agencies. To switch between business accounts, use the dropdown list at the top of the left sidebar menu.
Boosterberg does not support multi-factor authentication (MFA). However, you can enable MFA for your Facebook account. Since Boosterberg requires a Facebook login, enabling MFA on Facebook will add an extra layer of security to your Boosterberg account.
Boosterberg only accesses the data necessary for its service to function. This includes data related to Facebook Pages, Ad Accounts, and Business Manager settings. Boosterberg does not store Facebook passwords, read personal messages, or track private user activity beyond what is required for ad automation.
