Boosterberg has always cared about the privacy of your data. That is why we are writing to let you know that as of May 25 2018, we are making some important updates to our Privacy Policy along with some other privacy enhancements. These changes reflect the increased privacy and transparency requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (known as the ‘GDPR’).
You’ve probably already had to read dozens of such Privacy Policy updates, so instead of boring you with all the details, we have prepared a short summary about the most important changes and additions:
• In accordance with our new cookie consent policy, we will initiate our statistical and marketing cookies only after an explicit confirmation and, in case of marketing cookies, also an opt-in consent. By using cookies, we gather important data which help us make our tool better but also to better analyze and target our marketing efforts at users that would most benefit from using Boosterberg.
• Our updatedPrivacy Policyalso clearly states, what personal data we store and process, who has access to it and what do we use it for.
• Our new data retention policy lets us keep your data only for a limited time after you stop using your account. We will automatically delete your account and all of your personal data within 36 months of your trial or subscription expiration date. You can also delete your account, including all of your personal data that is stored with us, very easily from your account settings page.
If you register for an account, Boosterberg will continue to send you important information and news about our service via an email newsletter. If you are no longer interested in receiving these types of communications, it’s easy to unsubscribe directly from the email (this does not apply to system messages which are important for ensuring the correct functionality of the system)
We always strive to make our users experience more seamless and secure. If you have any questions or suggestions on how to make Boosterberg even better for your needs, don’t hesitate to contact us.
